The Story Behind Obsidian Share

Created in 2024 by Akshat, an undergraduate student , software developer and Obsidian enthusiast.

As a dedicated Obsidian user, Akshat saw a key limitation: while Obsidian excels at personal knowledge management, sharing notes with others often required sending entire files. To solve this, he built Obsidian Share, a tool that enables users to share Obsidian notes effortlessly—without sharing the entire file and for free.
